What video game console should i buy to play all Kingdom Hearts games?
I’ve been looking for a new video game system and wanted to get one that would be able to play all of the Kingdom hearts games on it. I know that the new Kingdom Hearts is coming out for a different system then the others, so i was wondering if there is a console that allows you to play all of them.

Well so far, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 are on the Playstation 2. I would Imagine that the new Kingdom Hearts will most definitely be on the Playstation 3. But for now. Grab yourself a Playstation 2. They are $100.

I’m sorry. There isn’t just ONE system to play the newer games that are coming out. If you want to play the 3 main games of KH, get the PS2. you’ll need to get KH, KH RE: chain of memories, and KHII. The newer games will require a DS and a PSP, which are handhelds.
Of course you CAN get an emulator of the systems for the computer, but that can get really complicated and won’t give you the real feeling of playing KH

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are Playstation 2, as well as a remake of the GameBoy advance Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. However, there is "Birth by Sleep" on the PSP and "358/2 days" on the DS. You can’t play PSP or DS games on any system other than the ones they were made on. Only older Playstation 3’s can play PS2 games, not ones currently for sale (they only do PS1 and 3). You’d need a PS2 (or older PS3), PSP (more recent ones can be connected to a TV at least), and DSi or DS Lite (the Lite could also play the original GameBoy Advance game, though might as well play the PS2 remake, DSi doesn’t do Gameboy Advance). The new one will most likely be for PS3, though a new lower priced PS3 and a used PS2 wouldn’t be much more (if not cheaper) than finding an old PS3. Unfortunately one system can’t do them all if you include the handheld ones, and it hasn’t been announced for sure that the newest is for PS3 but I’d be surprised if not.

There really isn’t a console you can play them all on. The first three are available for PS2… after than, you’re going to have to branch out.
You can only play 1 and 2 on PS2 (or a backwards compatible PS3, but they stopped making those, so you probably won’t be able to find one).
KH: Chain of Memories is also available on PS2 as KH Re: Chain of Memories, but was originally released on the Gameboy Advance (and is playable on GBA and Nintendo DS/DS LIte, but not the DSi).
KH: 358/2 Days will only be playable on the DS/DS Lite/DSi.
KH: Birth by Sleep will only be playable on the PSP.
KH3 has not yet been announced for a specific platform, but odds are good that it will be PS3 and possibly 360.

Well, you should invest in a PS2, or Playstation 2. The new kingdom hearts game, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is coming out for Nintendo DS on 9/29/09 (in the US), though. It seems very interesting, but not crucial to the series. Kingodm Hearts 1 and 2 are for PS2. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is for Game Boy Advance and PS2, though the PS2 version has Reverse/Rebirth mode which is where you play as Riku in his side of the story. So, all in all, get a PS2 first. Then, if you can afford it, also get a DS.

I own all available games AND I go on many KH sites to find correct info on release dates for them.

PS2 is the only station that you can play the most KH games, not all but most. You can play KH 1, KH 2, KH Chains of Memories on the PS2. So, get the Playstation 2.

Sorry. There is not one system that can play all the Kingdom Hearts games.
Kingdom Hearts 1 is for PS2
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is for GBA
Kingdom Hearts 2 is for PS2
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories is for PS2 (It’s a 3D remake of the GBA version)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is for Nintendo DS
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is going to be for the PSP.
When a Kingdom Hearts 3 game is announced it will be for PS3. I would tell you to get a PS3 BUT there isn’t god damn backwards compatibility on the new versions so you can’t play PS2 games on it.
Your best bet for now is to buy a PS2 so you can play Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and Re: CoM.
Then get a DS to play 358/2 Days. ^_^
Hope I was of some help.
